Summary

Shattered Stars does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising anywhere in the game.

What's stored on your device

Saved games, custom maps, and settings are written to storage on your device by the app. This data stays on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes it permanently. We keep no backup or copy of it anywhere.

What we don't do

• No accounts, profiles, or sign-in of any kind
• No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
• No advertising, ad networks, or advertising identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or trackers embedded in the game
• No cookies used for tracking
• No access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or files

Server logs

The Shattered Stars app itself makes no network requests and sends nothing to us or anyone else. This website, which exists only to host this policy and our support and marketing pages, is served by GitHub Pages. Like any web server, GitHub Pages automatically records basic technical request logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security and operational purposes. We do not access, analyse, or link this information to any individual, and it is unrelated to anything the app itself does.

Purchasing and downloading the app is handled entirely by Apple, who receive whatever information that process requires under their own privacy policy — we never see it.

Children's privacy

Shattered Stars collects no personal data from anyone, of any age. The game is suitable for all ages and, because nothing is collected, it complies with children's privacy laws such as COPPA and GDPR-K without requiring parental consent mechanisms.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Because Shattered Stars holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to act on. If you have any question or concern, please contact us anyway using the details below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes in a material way, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
